Owner-approved connection

Airtable information and changes, limited to what you choose.

Roy reads one Airtable workspace chosen by an owner and can create or update only the kinds of records that owner confirms.

What Roy can use

An owner chooses one Airtable workspace and reviews which tables and columns Roy found for clients, quotes, jobs, invoices, or payments. Roy reads and makes approved changes only within that confirmed setup.

Technical permissions for a security review

Roy requests these Airtable permissions: data.records:read, data.records:write, schema.bases:read, and webhook:manage.

Changes Roy can make

A verified owner can ask Roy to create or update a chosen client, quote, job, invoice, or payment record. That request approves one exact change. Roy saves the approval before making the change and reports the result separately. Roy cannot expand the kind of record, columns, or values after approval.

What Roy cannot change

  • No record deletion and no changes to comments, collaborators, workspaces, tables, or columns.
  • No automatic access to another workspace, a newly created workspace, or anything the owner did not choose.
  • No change when the owner’s confirmed setup is missing, out of date, or no longer matches Airtable.
  • No reading attachments and no assumption that a column name proves what the information means.
  • No business claim based on information that is out of date, conflicting, incomplete, or no longer matches the confirmed setup.

Owner confirmation, updates, and AI use

The connection belongs to the Roy business that started it. Only a verified owner can confirm what Roy should use or approve a change. Roy listens for Airtable updates so the chosen information stays current. If Roy cannot tell whether Airtable completed a change, Roy does not repeat it automatically. Relevant facts may be processed by Google Gemini as described in the Privacy Policy.

Connect or reconnect

Start from Connections in the verified owner’s Roy dashboard. If you need a fresh dashboard link, text Roy from the verified owner number and ask to connect Airtable. Never use a sign-in link sent by someone you do not know.
