Roy reads Gmail messages and Google Calendar events only for the business that approved the connection.

Roy requests Gmail read-only and send scopes plus the Google Calendar events scope.

Exactly what Roy may do

  • Send one drafted email with the displayed recipients, subject, and body.
  • Create one drafted Calendar event.
  • Update or cancel an existing event only against the version Roy most recently read.

The verified owner’s request approves one exact change. Roy saves the approval before making the change. The approval cannot be reused or expanded to different recipients, content, event details, or timing.

Roy does not repeat an uncertain change

If Google may have received a change but Roy cannot confirm the result, Roy does not repeat it automatically. The owner should check Gmail Sent or Google Calendar before asking again.

Connect or reconnect

Use Connections in the verified owner dashboard. If you need a fresh link, text Roy from the verified owner number. Disconnecting stops new reading and changes and removes Roy’s permission from Google.
